Wondering what to wear?

Go for something light, elegant, and tropical – fabrics that breathe, colours that feel sunny, and something you can dance in.

We care more that you’re there than what you wear.

Having said that, here’s some information that we hope is more helpful than the foregoing word-salad

LOCATION

The ceremony will be held at All Saints Church at 3:30pm*. While the average temperature at this time is still quite hot, the ceremony will take place within the church which is air-conditioned. Bring a shawl or prevail upon the kindness of the closest jacket-wearing person, but you’re unlikely to need it after the ceremony.

After the ceremony, we have organised shuttles to the wedding venue which is 2-3 minutes away by car.

If you’re wearing heels, please be reassured.
If you are German, we apologise for the offence; Wandern könnt ihr später.

The wedding reception will be held outdoors in partial shade at Stollmeyer’s Castle from 4:30pm* onward.

FOOTWEAR & FABRICS

The climate in Port of Spain in late December is typically hot and humid, with average daytime highs around 28–31°C and warm evenings around 22–25°C.

We endeavour to keep you cool and well-lubricated throughout, however breathable materials like linen or cotton will ensure your comfort more reliably than wool and polyester in the circumstances. Similarly, block heels, wedges and smart loafers lend themselves more readily to a night on the dance floor and across uneven surfaces.

Trinidad is an ethnically, culturally and religiously diverse slice of paradise. We’re not prescribing any rules – just be comfortable, be respectful, and do yuh ting.

If you feel to buss a little culture in your outfit, we wholeheartedly welcome it.
