If you’re travelling to Trinidad from abroad, we recommend scheduling your arrival from December 27th onwards as prices are much lower after Christmas. Similarly, return flights to Europe/ the US are most reasonable between 6-8th January 2027.
When you’re booking, ensure your final destination is Port of Spain (POS).

We think Trinidad and Tobago is best explored by car. There are many rental car companies that offer a pick up and drop off at Piarco Airport. Two small hints: First, it’s cheaper to share a car, so consider teaming up with other guests (you can contact us if you are willing to team up but don’t know any of the other guests - we are happy to play matchmaker). Second, on the off-chance that you are booking via the AVIS-webpage, you can use the Promo-Code S287301.

Currency:
The Local currency is the Trinidad & Tobago dollar (TTD). Cards are accepted in many places, but having some cash is handy for small shops and doubles.
Phones:
We suggest getting a cheap SIM/eSIM from Digicel or check with your provider regarding roaming plans in Trinidad.

Lodging Recommendations
We’ve created a list of recommended Airbnbs that are quite centrally located and proximate to the wedding venue (see to the right). Again, sharing largerWe think Cascade/St Anns is a great area that is close enough to Port of Spain while offering a bit of relief from the city’s intensity.
We’ve also added some great stays that offer spectacular views, proximity to the beach and nature in exchange for a slightly longer commute to the venue and Port of Spain.
