  • If you’re travelling to Trinidad from abroad, we recommend scheduling your arrival from December 27th onwards as prices are much lower after Christmas. Similarly, return flights to Europe/ the US are most reasonable between 6-8th January 2027.

    When you’re booking, ensure your final destination is Port of Spain (POS).

  • We think Trinidad and Tobago is best explored by car. There are many rental car companies that offer a pick up and drop off at Piarco Airport. Two small hints: First, it’s cheaper to share a car, so consider teaming up with other guests (you can contact us if you are willing to team up but don’t know any of the other guests - we are happy to play matchmaker). Second, on the off-chance that you are booking via the AVIS-webpage, you can use the Promo-Code S287301.

  • Currency:

    The Local currency is the Trinidad & Tobago dollar (TTD). Cards are accepted in many places, but having some cash is handy for small shops and doubles.

    Phones:

    We suggest getting a cheap SIM/eSIM from Digicel or check with your provider regarding roaming plans in Trinidad.

Lodging Recommendations

We’ve created a list of recommended Airbnbs that are quite centrally located and proximate to the wedding venue (see to the right). Again, sharing largerWe think Cascade/St Anns is a great area that is close enough to Port of Spain while offering a bit of relief from the city’s intensity.

We’ve also added some great stays that offer spectacular views, proximity to the beach and nature in exchange for a slightly longer commute to the venue and Port of Spain.
